Which Living-Learning Community Option Interests You Most?
- Wellness Community: Fitness classes, intramurals, nutrition, and personal & community wellness will be a focus for programming in this community. It will be easy to find an exercise buddy from your floor to go to the Wellness Center with you.
- Service-Learning Community: There are many opportunities for service that your community will participate in including: The Welcome Table, Weekend Backpack Program, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service & AWOL (Alternative Weeks of Learning). Surround yourself with others who like to give back to their communities & the world.
- Education Community: You don't have to be declared as an Education major, but simply have an interest in teaching at any level - elementary, secondary, special or physical education. Ed School faculty look forward to connecting you with children beginning in your first semester at USD.
- Honors Community (for Honors students only): Honors students have a long tradition at USD of living on the same floor together. They enjoy the academic & social connections that living together provides.
- Arts and Sciences Community: The College of Arts & Sciences will bring both academic and extra-curricular programming to your floor. Resources like the Math Emporium and the Writing Center will be made available in the community as well as participation in fun, long-standing traditions at USD like Dakota Days and Tailgate Nation.
