First Year Experience

USD 101

USD 101 is a 1-credit course intended to assist first-year students in their transition to life as a USD student. It is our goal to connect new students quicker and easier to faculty, staff, students and resources at the University of South Dakota. In addition, we want to help new students earn higher grades in their first semester at USD and feel more at home in Vermillion. Studies have shown that students who feel connected to their university are more likely to be academically successful. We want that for you!

USD 101 meets once per week during the fall semester in an interactive classroom.
