Center for Academic & Global Engagement International Student Services

Registration

Graduate students may receive material on course registration from their admitting school or department before their departure, while others may not. Undergraduate students will hear from their academic advisor. Information on how to register for courses and many academic resources will be available to all students at the orientation. Students must consult academic advisors in their departments or schools before choosing courses for the semester. Please take a few minutes to watch this short video to familiarize yourself with the system that we use here at USD for registration. After registration, there is a period of a couple of weeks called "drop/add period" during which students can alter their class schedules if necessary. Please see the University Calendar for more information.
