National Student Exchange (NSE) provides opportunities for U.S. and Canadian students to exchange to another college or university in the U.S. or Canada. Almost 200 colleges and universities participate.

USD students have the opportunity to study at another campus for a semester and return to USD greatly enriched by the experience. NSE can send you to campuses within the U.S., its territories and Canada.

The University of South Dakota is a member of NSE and encourages students to realize their options of spending a semester at another university in the U.S.  

Deadlines:  

The application deadline to participate during the upcoming academic year (fall, spring, summer) is February 18. Late applications are possible; contact Global Learning for more information.

Study Away

NSE programs send you to campuses within the U.S., its territories and Canada.  If you're not quite ready for an international experience, NSE offers an alternative to traditional study abroad.
