Application Process

Application Deadlines:
  • Spring Programs: October 15
  • Fall, Summer, & Academic Year Programs: March15
  • National Student Exchange: February 18

Minimum Requirements for Participation in Global Learning Programs:
  • At least a 2.5 GPA
  • 12 credits completed at USD
  • Good academic and community standing
These are minimum requirements. A particular program will often have higher GPA requirements.

Application Process:
  1. Attend a Global Learning 101 session. See Calendar of Events.
  2. Search for and select a program. Applications need to be submitted through the program of choice.
  3. Once you've found the program you'd like to apply for, click Apply Now from within that program's information page.
  4. You will need to log in using your USD username and password. (Non-USD students should follow the steps under "non-USD login".)
  5. Complete the online application.
