Our Mission

Mission of the Campus Diversity Enhancement Group
  1. Advisory to the Office of Institutional Diversity
  2. Planning Function
    1. Participate in implementation of Campus Diversity Plan
    2. Participate in the development and implementation of diversity elements of Strategic Plan
    3. Hold the Office of Institutional Diversity accountable for the recommendations of the Diversity Plan (and relevant areas of the new Strategic Plan)
  3. Networking/Connecting
    1. Liaison with Units across campus (representational membership)
    2. Advocacy
    3. Serve as a "triage"  (topics that might be brought to the committee, problem solve about best place to direct these, and follow up with actions taken)
  4. Exchanging ideas related to diversity
  5. Modeling openness to/respect for all diversity across campus/in community
  6. Supporting each other (Allies)
