Action opportunities allow you to make a difference in Vermillion, surrounding communities, or your community back home. Such experiences will also help you develop leadership capabilities and offer you a chance to be part of a community effort. Finally, it will help you connect what you learn in the classroom with what goes on in the real world.

The Action component is a project completed in the capstone course of IdEA in concert with other students, your faculty and a community partner or community outcome. The Center for Academic Engagement will also be partners in this experience, connecting classroom to the community.
