Symposium & Seminar Series

Exchange of Ideas

Our annual summer symposium on photodynamics joins cluster members (and their research groups) and two to three invited scientists for a two-day event that provides a venue for members to present research projects, share unique expertise in experimental or computational techniques, and exchange ideas for collaborative research efforts.

The summer symposium also has a significant impact on scientific education within the cluster, both for faculty and graduate students, and greatly facilitates the development and advancement of new collaborative research efforts.

The invited speakers serve to bring fresh ideas and new methodology to the group and would increase ties with the national research community. The symposium is a powerful complement to the lecture series and visiting scholar program.
