Coyote News
KYOT-TV Cable Channel 21
KYOT-TV is a student-run cable television station owned by the USD and operated by the Department of Contemporary Media and Journalism. KYOT provides students with hands-on experience to prepare them for communication careers by participation in various positions and activities involved in the administration, creation, production, and marketing of programming and the station.
KYOT is grounded in the liberal arts philosophy which fully embraces educating the whole person. Hands-on media experience serves this philosophy as one component of the communications process. At KYOT, "hands-on education" extends beyond production to include hands-on research, criticism, evaluation, management, and human communication skills. No matter what your major is, you can become part of the U News Team!
