Bio:
Jeanne Fromm has been working as an environmental geologist for 15 years- focusing on geologic processes that provide clean water and habitat for plants and animals. She teaches Earth science courses at University Center and is active in Dakota Water Watch, a volunteer water quality monitoring program for South Dakota citizens. She has degrees from the University of Washington and Idaho State University and has lived and worked in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Ohio, and South Dakota.
Teaching Interests:
Introductory physical geology and Earth systems science, and history of Earth systems.
Research Interests:
Wetland science, geomorphic processes, and habitat restoration for water quality benefits and habitat restoration.
