Bio:
Jason Berger is an assistant professor of English at USD. His first book, _Antebellum at Sea: Maritime Fantasies in Nineteenth-Century America_, was published by the University of Minnesota Press (2012), and he is currently at work on a new book, titled _Electric Subjects: Antebellum America’s Totalitarian Selves_.
