Alpha Mu Phi is USD's local Sigma Tau Delta chapter. This organization's central purpose is to confer distinction upon students of the English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies. Sigma Tau Delta also recognizes the accomplishments of professional writers who have contributed to the fields of language and literature.

University Writing Center

The University Writing Center provides services designed especially for any undergraduate or graduate student, including international students using English as an additional language. Knowledgeable, experienced writing consultants work with academic papers, dissertations and theses, proficiency (CAAP) exams, and any other work that involves writing. Consultants are also available to visit classes. If you're already a strong writer, consider becoming a Writing Center consultant.
