Carl Christol History Award
Candidates will be enrolled or accepted in USD and meet all departmental requirements to be a student in good standing. Preference will be given to candidates who are outstanding majors in the History Department.
Robert Stark Scholarship
Students majoring in history.
Donald Bechtel Scholarship
Available to history majors with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Cedric & Evelyn Cummins Memorial Scholarship
Available to sophomore or junior history majors.
Ramon Harris/ Robert Wallace Scholarship
For history majors.
Cliff Eggers Memorial Scholarship
Students with good people skills, who are "down to earth" and have the potential to make something of themselves. The committee shall take each of these factors into consideration. Financial need may also be taken into consideration, but should not be the sole determining factor. Applicants should have a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.3 on a 4.0 but who have average to above average potential, separate from strictly academic considerations.

For history majors.
Everett Sterling Book Award
Awarded to an outstanding History major in the form of subscriptions to historical materials.
Jacque Manning Book Award
History majors with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Elbert & Marjorie Harrington Book Award
For history majors.
Robert "Bid" Miller
Undergraduate or graduate history major.
Raynor Greenleaf & Margaret Coggin Wellington Scholarship
Undergraduate or professional field of study with a preference for students of American History or Political Science.
Non-Traditional Student Book Award
Non-traditional undergraduate history major for books and supplies.
