Undergraduate
As a history major, you can choose from the B.A. or B.S. degrees, or a degree in history education (offered in conjunction with the School of Education) for students interested in secondary teaching. You can take courses such as American Frontier, South Dakota History, JFK Assassination, Ancient World in Film, World War II, Russian History, and Shakespeare's England.

Classical Humanities Minor
The Classical Humanities Minor requires a minimum of 18 semester hours of Latin, Greek and/or Classical Humanities courses such as Classical Mythology, Ancient Literature, Roman History, Greek Art and Archeology.
Latin Minor
The Latin Minor requires 18 semester hours and provides students with a basic level of reading ability in the Latin language and an understanding of the history and culture of the Romans.
