In the summer of 2014, this department will be
renamed the Department of Modern Languages. The philosophy program will move to
its new home in the Department of History.
Learning another language is more than a vocabulary list and pronunciation key. It's learning to speak, listen, read and write, and it's also learning to understand another culture.
We Offer Programs in:
Our Philosophy program not only encourages, but also requires responsible, independent thought and action; we also hope to widen the scope of experience by disclosing surprising alternatives to settled opinions and habitual beliefs.
