Bio:
Born and raised in Peru. Acquired a near-native fluency in German during her 14 years in Germany. Earned her PhD in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from UCLA.
Teaching Interests:
Advanced Spanish language classes, Spanish Linguistics, Civilization, Culture, and Literature of the Americas, Spanish for Business and the Medical Field, Latin American Film.
Research Interests:
Co-existence of Latin and Spanish in Colonial Peru. Historical Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, and Phonology.
