In an increasingly multicultural world, graduates proficient in a second or third language are sought after by employers in most industries. Language grads are at work in education, government, business, social services, healthcare and many other fields.
Please see our German, Spanish and French web pages for specific curriculum information.
Interdisciplinary Language Areas Minor
For students who have professional interests in the Spanish- or German-speaking areas, the following interdisciplinary minors are available. Students who have professional interests or plan to pursue graduate work in one of the areas will find it advisable to include additional work in the language of their area. Two years of the related language are a prerequisite.
