*Data are not presented if n=1
**BA/BS = students entering with a bachelor's degree or with a masters degree without thesis (required to be in residence a minimum of 4 years before internship)
*** MA/MS = students entering with a Psychology Master's degree, with empirical thesis (required to be in residence of minimum of 3 years before internship)
Attrition
There are a number of reasons students leave the program prematurely. Examples of reasons include (1) dismissal due to failure to make adequate progress in the program (academic/personal difficulties) or the student's decision to (2) pursue a research area not offered in program, or (3) pursue a degree other than clinical psychology or (4) discontinue due to health/financial/personal concerns.
| Students admitted to the program between 2002/2003 - 2008/2009 | 56 |
| Of these, the number of students who left the program prior to completion of Ph.D. | 5 (9%) |
Professional Licensure
The majority of our graduates pursue professional licensure within one to two years after they have graduated. A small number of students enter work environments (e.g., academic, research) that do not require licensure.
| Ph.D. Graduates between Fall 2000 - Summer 2007 | 40 |
| Graduates who do not plan to pursue licensure | 2 (5%) |
| Graduates who are in the process of completing licensure requirements | 10 (25%) |
| Graduates who are currently licensed | 28 (70%) |
2009-2010 Tuition & Fee Schedule for Graduate Students
