Tentative Schedule

8 am: Day begins with informative sessions from the various national sites. More information about these can be found at the internet2 website. To date more than 38 sites have joined together to participate in the National Day.

9 am: Access Grid Node (AGN) Conference - Bioinformatics Seminar Topic Onto-tools. Advanced methods for the analysis of microarray data. Sorin Draghici (Wayne State University) and Purvesh Khatri (US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, Bioinformatics Cell).

Break between 10-10:30: View displays and transition to the local celebration.

At 10:30 am: Local celebration a traditional Lakota blessing by Jerome Kills Small, this will mark the first broadcast out using the Access Grid Node at USD. A ceremony marking the event will incorporate other sites in South Dakota. These sites are linked through a partnership with the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, Division of Basic Biomedical Research grant: South Dakota Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network (BRIN) has several partner sites through out SD to see the current partners http://www.usd.edu/brin/.
