The sixth annual student research poster session
took place in Pierre, SD, on February 19, 2003. Five BRIN
Research Fellows from BHSU participated in the event.
Karl Mechtenberg from BHSU presented on "simultaneous
Evolution of Plant Competitiveness Switching from Toxin to Growth-based
Strategies." Karl and co-authors Tessa Jones and Katie
Valkenburg have been research fellows since Fall 2002. Their
faculty sponsor is David Siemens, Ph.D.
