  • Has an enrollment (Fall 2012) of 1,186 students (938 undergraduate, 248 graduate).
  • Is one of only 5 percent of business schools worldwide to achieve AACSB accreditation, the highest distinction that business schools can receive.
  • Ranks exceptionally high in academic achievement. Recent graduates scored better than 97 percent of all students who took the national ETS exit exams.
  • Maintains a low faculty-to-student ratio. Undergraduate business classes average 27 students.
  • Provides excellent internship opportunities with more than half of undergraduate students completing at least one internship.
  • Awards more than $400,000 in annual scholarships.
  • Boasts an 87 percent placement rate.
  • Provides hands-on financial management experience with opportunities to manage a $1 million investment fund.
  • Strongly encourages participation in business-related student organizations - many of them national award winners.
  • Regularly hosts national business leaders, government officials, successful alumni and other guest speakers to discuss current business issues and offer leadership perspectives.
  • Offers state-of-the-art classrooms. Beacom School of Business building was completed in 2009.
