  • Support faculty in their teaching and research activities

Your gift to the Change Fund will help maintain the Beacom School of Business as the leader in business education in our region.

Beacom School of Business has other fundraising priorities:
  • Endowed Scholarships
Competition for highly talented students is intense, and gifts to endowed scholarships help provide the resources to attract them to USD. Scholarships have the potential to transform a life and open doors of possibility to prospective students.
  • Student Support
Our students are highly engaged in various student organizations and scholarly activities. They often travel to conduct research or present papers, frequently at their own expense. Private gifts may support a specific organization or travel/study programs.
  • Faculty endowments
Competition for excellent faculty is keen, and the School must offer salaries and research packages comparable to our peers if we are to remain the leader among business schools in our region. Endowed chairs and professorships in accounting, health services administration, and marketing would strengthen the School's competitive position for new faculty.
  • Academic program support
"Enterprise wide learning" is the School's focus, which ties together all of the academic disciplines and prepares graduates to take leadership positions in business because they understand the integration of all aspects of business. Donors may support an academic program in any of the departments within the School.
