How Did Beacom Prepare Me For Success?
My experience at USD was a time in my life I will never forget.  From participating in greek life and business groups, to managing a full course load, my college experience certainly kept me busy. By being involved with Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE), a business marketing fraternity, I learned that by being involved in several activities certainly gets you ready for the business world. 

I found my internship through connections I had with those in the marketing office at VT Industries.  It was a wonderful experience to assist in strategic planning, branding schemes, and the common day-to-day activities found in many marketing offices (facebook and website updates).  This internship solidified my confidence in wanting to work in the corporate marketing setting.

What USD has taught me was to never give up.  I have been tested through projects, exams, and student organizations, and sometimes the end result was not accomplished.  But, I always kept a bright outlook of what may come and it does pay off.  PSE was a challenge to get started, but after our first full year we won the national competition of Top New Chapter.  The chapter has since grown and started to do amazing work on campus and at regional and national competitions.
