health services administration
You don’t need a stethoscope to make a difference in healthcare. Each day, healthcare executives are making significant contributions to the health—and lives—of the people and communities they serve. The Bachelor of Business Administration--Health Services Administration (BBA-HSAD) degree at the U is unique. It’s one of only a few nationally recognized undergrad health administration programs in the country located in a School of Business accredited by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. And in the rapidly evolving healthcare industry, career choices for healthcare executives have never been more dynamic and diverse. Prior to enrolling in junior or senior level classes, HSAD students meet the same criteria as any other business major. The freshman/sophomore program is followed to assure that the University's General Education requirements and the prerequisites for admission to the 300/400 level courses in the major have been completed. Unlike other business majors, health services administration students may declare their major during the freshman/sophomore portion of their program. But only when the conditions for admission have been met, will the student be allowed to enroll in junior/senior level courses. Contact the School of Business Student Services Center for assistance. |
