Beacom School of Business Human Resource Management

The human resource management faculty bring to our classrooms a wealth of teaching expertise and knowledge in the field based on professional experience. Our faculty members are business experts, innovative teachers and dedicated mentors who instruct students on business methods and then apply their teaching through school-sponsored, student-run organizations.

Student Organizations

The primary student organization for those interested in Human Resources Management is SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). Members of SHRM participate in networking activities, develop their knowledge of human resources beyond the classroom, and participate in regional competitions. In addition, many Human Resources students participate in the other student organizations associated with the business school, including but not limited to Delta Sigma Pi and SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise).

Beacom School of Business has the capacity to award more than $400,000 in awards and scholarships each year. These funds are made available through the generous support of alumni and friends.

Study Abroad

Beacom School of Business's international program offers you the opportunity to live and study abroad. Business courses taught in many international universities are offered in English so business school students around the world can participate in these courses. You gain both academic experiences and a global perspective on universal issues.
