Studying abroad provides the experience of learning and working in locations throughout the world. The Beacom School of Business works in partnership with the Center for Academic Engagement - Study Abroad to provide study abroad opportunities for business school students.
International Study Abroad
- Business courses are taught in many international universities and are offered in English.
- Gain academic experiences and a global perspective.
- Live on the university campus, while participating in courses with transferable credits to USD.
- Make friends from around the world.
International Internships
- Internships provide you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to work in a European-based corporation.
- The hands-on work experience is enhanced by living in a European community.
- Internships are available year-round and typically are 2-6 months in duration.
- You earn both academic credit towards your major, as well as travel opportunities before, during, and after the internship experience.
- Faculty advisors assist the organizations providing the internships as well as the student interns.

- The Netherlands - Marge Klompe Health Group and De Basis-Hillvorzorg Co. of Hilvorsum
- Intern in various healthcare organizations.
- Germany - Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and Volkswagen AG (VW) in Wolfsburg
- Internships support the planning and implementation of the International Summer University Programat Ostfalia. Upon successful completion of the Ostfalia internship, students have the opportunity to continue their internship at Volkswagen AG. The Ostfalia experience provides a gateway to internship opportunities at Volkswagen AG.
- This internship is a great opportunity for any student to learn about processes in a huge company while at the same time experiencing the German culture.
