organization information
description:
The Coyote Investment Club was created in 1997 by USD students, faculty, staff, and alumni to give students a hands-on opportunity to learn about investing. The goal of the club is to help all members learn how to analyze stocks and make investment decisions. The club, which meets monthly, is organized as a partnership with each member owning a proportional share of the club's assets.CIC membership is capped at 40, but there are spots available each year as students graduate and withdraw their funds from the club. As of mid-2008, the CIC portfolio is worth more nearly $70,000.
