The FMA group helps students network with finance professionals through speakers and field trips. Field trips to businesses in Omaha as well as financial centers in Chicago and New York City allow students to enjoy hands-on experience in the area of finance. In addition, students get to ask professionals what they look for in new employees and where to look for good opportunities in a financial institution. Also, by bringing speakers to campus, FMA introduces various financial careers to students, along with an understanding of financial operations in corporate America. The USD FMA group was honored to receive the coveted Superior Chapter designation for the eighth year in a row for their work during the 2007-08 academic year! Less than 5% of student FMA chapters receive this prestigious designation each year. FMA members will, once again, be able to meet Mr. Warren Buffett on Friday, February 6, 2009. Watch for details!
