The mission of our organization is to increase student involvement with regards to physical therapy at the local, state, and national level; to increase public awareness of benefits and services offered by the physical therapy profession; increase student involvement and participation in the APTA; to provide opportunities for students to participate in philanthropic activities in local community.

Members of the USD SPTA are required to be students of the USD Physical Therapy program as well as members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
