The USD chapter of AISES will be established with the intnent to nurture the building of community at USD by bridging Science and Technology with traditional native values. Through it's educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for other academic arenas. The trained professionals will then become technologically informed leaders within the Indian community. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society.
*Petition to form a chapter *Agreement to comply with national "Code of Conduct" requirements *Establishment of chapter bylaws and code Must have at least 8 individual AISES members before establishing chapter ($25 annual dues) *A letter from USD stating that the University has certified this chapter as a duly recognized student organization.
