South Dakota Strength: Sport Performance Camp

If you've got what it takes to achieve your full athletic potential and want to train with qualified collegiate strength coaches then this is the camp for you. Jevon Bowman a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist has designed a program to increase an athlete's strength, speed, agility, flexibility, conditioning, and explosiveness.   • Days: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
  • Time: Noon - 1 p.m.
  • Cost: $105 for members; $125 for non-members

Summer Fit Camp

This summer class will meet outdoors for exercises including brisk walking, body weight strength training, core workout, and cycling with a Certified Personal Trainer as your coach. It is a great way to start your fitness program by burning fat with a total body workout in a fun group environment. A basic pre/post fitness assessment will be taken. For more information view the Summer Fit Camp Brochure and don't forget to fill out the Summer Fit Camp Registration Form and return it to the Wellness Center.

  • Time: 6 - 7 a.m.
  • Cost: $20 for members; $45 for non-members

Cycle for Power Development

A class structured to find your peak sustainable power output and the length of time you can hold your peak power output. Using this information you will train to increase your sustainable peak power. For more information view the Cycle for Power Development Brochure.

Introduction to Yoga

Yoga, translated from sanskrit means union - union of the physical body, mind, spirit and extended body or environment. Yoga postures stretch, strengthen and tone the entire body. Regular practice helps balance our body/mind and enhance health and well-being. This introductory class will allow you to become more comfortable with the poses by providing you with basic instruction and familiarization with the techniques. Introduction to Cycling

Indoor cycling is an exercise class that focuses on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity (race days) and recovery. It involves a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel. Introduction to Cycling will allow you to become familiar with the bikes while also learning proper techniques. Kisado Interval Fitness

Kisado Fitness is a high intensity interval training (H.I.I.T.) program designed to get you in shape, help you lose weight and increase your mental strength. Kisado Fitness specifically targets your strength, speed, agility and flexibility. Kisado utilizes bag work for a new dynamic of resistance training. Kisado Fitness also uses a wide range of uniquely designed exercises that will challenge anyone regardless of fitness level! View the Kisado Fitness Brochure for more info.
