Get ready for a YOGA adenture! This is a Vinyasa style class that builds intensity with every flow. Focusing on smooth breathing and beneficial purpose of each pose, this class takes a detour from the standard practice by introducing different sun salutation patterns and new options to every pose. It is a different workout each and every time! All levels welcome and encouraged.

If you are looking to grow your practice from the ground up or return to the basic roots of yoga, this class is for you. Come explore a series of basic poses allowing you to create the pose based on your own body readiness. You will learn foundational yoga breathing techniques as well as an introduction to basic yoga postures. Also, in this leel you will learn the fundamentals of sun salutations. Poses and sequences are practiced with alignment in mind offering the practitioner the opportunity to gain confidence, strength, and flexibility. No experience is necessary, all levels welcome.

It includes longer pose holds, allowing a deeper exploration of your practice. With a focus on consistent sequencing from class to class, students are able to continually expand and cultivate each pose. As familiarity with the sequence grows, so too does your willingness to express fully in conversation with your body. The entire flow is guided, including modification to match your growing edge. Group chair exercise is a great class to help one maintain a regular exercise program improving physical fitness and mental health. This class will focus on building stamina, strength, functional capability, balance and increased satisfaction in life. Free to members. We will be focusing on the various movements of Pilates, with each class centered on developing core strength, in a non-impact and gentle setting. As the class progresses, the number of repetitions, difficulty and complexity of the movements and sequences will gradually increase. Pilates can be a great accompaniment to a variety of athletic programs or on its own.

Perspiring will also help flush toxins from your body and cleanse your systems. Participants may arrive 10 minutes early to class to adjust to the heat. It is recommended that you bring a towel and plenty of hydration. *for all levels

Take your indoor cycling to the next level with HIIT the Road. This cycling class raises your metabolic rate so that you are burning calories for hours after you're done pedaling. HIIT the Road will alternate between high intensity and low intensity cardio to increase your power and endurance. The constant variation of intensity will challenge your body and keep your mind focused on your time and speed, making your workout more engaging.

The room is intentionally heated with temperatures generally peaking around 90-95 degrees. These conditions warm and lengthen your muscles, and allow for a deeper release. Perspiring will also help flush toxins from your body and cleanse your systems. Participants may arrive 10 minutes early to class to adjust to the heat. If you are looking to grow your practice from the ground up or return to the basic roots of yoga, this class is for you. Come explore a series of basic poses allowing you to create the pose based on your own body readiness. You will learn foundational yoga breathing techniques as well as an introduction to basic yoga postures. Also, in this level you will learn the fundamentals of sun salutations. Poses and sequences are practiced with alignment in mind offering the practitioner the opportunity to gain confidence, strength, and flexibility. No experience is necessary, all levels welcome.

Zumba will hae you moing, shaking, and burning calories in no time! This class utilizes hypnotic latin, and hip-hop rhythms with incorporated aerobic elements. You'll love every minute of this cardio dance party. There is no right or wrong when it comes to Zumba, are you ready to hit the dance floor?!

Sunday topic classes will be held from 4:00-5:15pm. Pre-registration is required. Register online at wellness.usd.edu or in room 102 of the Wellness Center. Wake up and start you day with this high energy morning ride from involving various profiles including strength, endurance, sprints, interval sets, and more. This exhilarating cardiovascular workout is designed for all fitness levels.
6:00 AM - 6:45 AM
Dubbed by the media as the “most efficient total-body workout in the world,” ShockWae is extreme cross-training at its best! This circuit challenge utilizes a Water Rower machine to proide short-burst, high intensity, calorie burning intervals along with functional strength and sculpting stations designed to target and chisel the legs, core and arms. Enjoy a friendly competition and get motivated to be pushed to the max.
8:30 AM - 9:15 AM
30 minutes of Rowing followed by 30 minutes of BOSU Core/Balance. A cardio, core, strength, balance fused workout.

Power style yoga is an intense and igorous style of yoga. The workout involves building strength, endurance, and flexibility through sequences of beginning and intermediate level poses. The poses interlink with each other and progressively build throughout the class allowing the participant to set their own intensity level. This is a great fitness-style work-out. *for all levels

Chilax'n Yoga focuses on the fundamentals of yoga for relaxation and letting go. You will learn the foundations of yoga breathing techniques as well as an introduction to basic yoga postures, pose modifications to suit your needs, stretching flow sequences and meditatie guidance to allow life's business and distractions to melt away, allowing time for introspection. No experience is necessary, and all levels are welcome to this gentle, quiet class - a perfect way to unwind!

Want to take a trip from Point A to Point B? Road Trip does just that, taking you through sprints, climbs, and interals. This class, designed for all fitness levels, will take you on an engaging cycling journey.
