HSAD 511  
Financial Management of Long-Term Care
This course addresses the financial management of nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, home health care agencies and other long-term care businesses. While narrow in its focus on long-term care, it is comprehensive in assembling the financial tools needed to quantify a strategic plan, develop a budget, implement and monitor budget performance, and merge clinical practice with reimbursement requirements. It is a specialty subset within the complex field of healthcare finance.

HSAD 715
Strategic Management of Long-Term Care

This course addresses the theories and practices required to project the need for long-term care services.

HSAD 725
Administration of Long-Term Care
This course examines the management implications of gerontology and administration of long-term care facilities and explores moral and political issues affecting health care delivery to individuals throughout the aging process.

BADM 561
Topics: Human Resource Management

This course focuses on managing human resources in long-term care and related services by understanding cultural sensitivity and practicing change management.
