dakota baroque and classic company

The Dakota Baroque and Classic Company is presented in collaboration with the USD Music Department and National Music Museum.

Dakota Baroque performs on period instruments and copies of original instruments found in the National Music Museum.

Featuring USD music faculty, this ensemble presents chamber music from the 18th and 19th centuries as the people who lived in the great cities and courts of Europe might have originally heard it. The group is available for concerts, master classes and school programs.

Dakota Baroque is also available in groups of two to four musicians.
