ACEJMC
The USD Department of Contemporary Media & Journalism is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (ACEJMC). Programs are reviewed by ACEJMC every six years. An ACEJMC reaccreditation team granted the department full accreditation during the Spring 2004 semester. What Does Accreditation Mean? Accreditation means that outside reviewers have reviewed the department's programs. They judged the facilities, budget, faculty, course requirements, relationship with alumni, and many other factors based on a series of national standards. |
