Online Bachelor of Science in ADS
The Online Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Alcohol & Drug Studies (ADS) combines a strong academic foundation with real-world experience in counseling and prevention and focuses on science-based addiction education. In addition, the completion of the degree may qualify graduates to meet the standards for state, national and international certification for professional prevention specialists and treatment counselors/providers. Participants should contact their State Certifying Body to assure courses meet certification. Requirements may differ from state to state. The ADS department is accredited through the International Coalition of Addiction Studies Education (INCASE) and gives students the tools needed to meet the growing demand for professionals skilled in alcohol and drug prevention, education, counseling, and treatment.

Transfer Students:
Unofficial Transfer Equivalency Report
Transfer students can request for an unofficial transfer equivalency report to give you a more accurate look at what can be transferred to the University of South Dakota. The transfer equivalency report will include a course by course equivalency report as well as a degree completion plan. Plans are confirmed by the Registrar upon enrollment. Results will be certified and returned to you as well as the ADS department.
