Disability Services A Program of the Center for Disabilities

Disability Services is an integral part of The University of South Dakota, committed to ensuring that students, faculty, staff and campus visitors with disabilities have equal access to all programs and activities The U offers in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.

Disability Services is committed to assisting students with disabilities self-advocate and fully participate in all of the activities, programs, and services of The U.  The services of Disability Services are available to students with a qualifying and documented learning, physical, or psychological disability.

Disability Services is also responsible for ensuring that faculty and staff members with a disability receive reasonable and appropriate workplace accommodations.
