The mission of the Institute for Teachers of Gifted Youth, established in 2003, is to assist teachers and school specialists in serving the unique needs of high-ability students in the context of the regular school classroom. 

This year's keynote presenter is Dr. Karen Westberg, Ph.D. in Gifted Education, Associate Professor and Chair of Curriculum & Instruction at University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
