- The Dakota Writing
Project. Affiliated with the National Writing Project, the DWP helps
teachers make writing joyful and interdisciplinary.
- The South Dakota Review. A
well-respected literary magazine at USD that's been around for over 35
years.
- The Vermillion Literary
Project. A group of literary-minded students at USD who produce an
annual literary magazine, run a radio show, maintain a web site, and put
on poetry readings and other events. Any current USD student,
undergraduate or graduate, of any discipline, can join.
