- Those attending the meeting were: Lee Hall, Rhea Ehresman, Adam Schimelfening, Dianna Bartels, Kay Kassube, Rissy Ford, Lou Rezac, Sarah Cook
- D-Days float was cancelled due to lack of resources. Window painting was proposed as an alternative and was agreed upon.
- A canoe trip was discussed as an early fall activity possibly in conjunction with the Biology Club. Midas Dinner - Involve Earth Science, Anthropology, Archeology, and Chemistry departments. Might possibly incorporate a different culture. Planned for early next year. Possibly use as a senior seminar project.
- The topic of doing a community service project was brought up. One idea was putting recycling bins in buildings on campus and then collecting the trash for recycling.
- Other fall trips that were briefly mentioned were EROS Data Center, Ashfall Fossil Beds, Palisades Park, Washington Pavilion

- Lee Hall, Rhea Ehresman, Adam Schimelfening, Wendy Stiernagle, Lou Rezac, Sarah Cook, Dr. Timothy Heaton attended the meeting.
- Magazine scans and photos of garbage bins were brought by Rhea Ehresman for recycle bin ideas.
- Window painting project for D-Days will be a stylized United States with geologic features across the map. Plus a picture of the infamous U. being eaten by a shark done by our esteemed president.
- The canoe trip will be held on the 23rd of October.
- Geoclub members are welcome to go on a field trip with Dr. Heaton on October 16. Also going on the field trip will be the guest speaker for Earth Science Week, Dr. Alan Feduccia.
