Activities
Being the oh-so-active group of rapscallions we are, the Geo Club likes to get out and about once and a lot. This page will be dedicated to our " educational processes or procedures intended to stimulate learning through actual experience." To whet your appetite, a few things we've done so far include: a camping trip at Lewis and Clark Lake, D-Days window painting (we're a shoo in for first place [note: see update]) and weekly meetings with a monthly end-of-the month pizza party.
Its only five bucks to join, and with all the fun we have, you'd be hard pressed to deny us the glory of your presence. Send an email to geoclub@usd.edu because if you don't, we'll beat you up and take five dollars anyway.
Update (10/05/04): Word has just been received that Geology Club has lost the D-Days window painting competition! Approximately 3 total school organizations entered the contest, each painting a business window in accordance with the theme "Oh, the places U.'ll go!" Geology Club came in fourth. You can see pictures of our valiant effort here.
