The College of Fine Arts students and faculty are outstanding in their work and talent. Their high achievements have helped the departments win awards and provide everyone with exceptional opportunities.
Our vibrant campus is active with music concerts, theatrical performances, and art gallery exhibits. We host over 100 events a year for the campus and surrounding communities. Our faculty invite over 80 guest artists to appear on campus annually to enhance our fine arts offerings. Princeton Review continues to rank USD as one of the best universities. Our college is exceptional and we are proud to show it every day.

We are proud to say that our Department of Art, Department of Music, and Department of Theatre are all accredited by their national associations, and have been for many decades. We are the only College of Fine Arts in the state of South Dakota. The quality of education we provide has helped our majors go onto the concert stage, theatre stage, exhibition galleries, and graduate schools of note.
