Vocal Ensembles
The Vocal/Choral Area is a dynamic and flourishing segment of the music department at the University of South Dakota, offering numerous opportunities for student involvement. All students at the university have the opportunity to study privately with exceptional faculty to develop their vocal technique and enhance their singing ability. Solo performance opportunities are available through the USD Opera and recitals.

Students may also participate in three choral organizations including the very select Chamber Singers, the University's most elite ensemble, the Concert Choir, a larger select ensemble, and the Men's & Women's Chorus, a large non-auditioned choir that meets one night a week.
