Karl Graber, staff accompanist for the Department of Theatre's Musical Theatre specialization, graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 2002 with a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance. While under the tutelage of Mark Clinton and Nicole Narboni, Karl won the student concerto competition in 2001 and performed with the UNL Orchestra. He has also performed in master classes with Leon Fleischer, Murray Perhia, Paul Wirth and Maurice Hinson, has been a soloist with the Cherokee Symphony, and was a member of the South Dakota Symphony for three years. A South Dakota native, Karl also has extensive training in voice and violin.
