Dr. Yuyu Sun
Dr. Yuyu Sun earned his Ph.D. in polymer chemistry and physics in 1998 from Fudan University, China. After working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California Davis and as assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Sun was invited to join the faculty at the University of South Dakota in 2007 as an associate professor.
Dr. Sun's major research interests are antimicrobial and biofilm-controlling polymers, controlled drug delivery, and functional modification of biomaterials. His research projects are funded by NIH, CDC, and private companies.
