The 1911 Fund was established as a way for SDSI Alumni to help fund chapter improvement projects. Each year we ask Alumni to donate $19.11 to help further the legacy of our chapter. In the past this money has been used for landscaping, house renovations, and numerous other house projects. Alumni involvement in this program has greatly benefited the chapter and we are very appreciative of their support.

In January of 2003, SDSI established an additional component to the 1911 Fund, the "Century Club." Once an Alumnus donates over $100, from January 2003 and on, he is known as a Century Club brother. We honor these individuals by placing a plaque, including the name and graduation year, on a brick in Ma Raymond's Hallway. The consists of gold lettering on a black background and covers the entire brick.

Once an Alumnus reaches the $500 mark, his plaque is replaced with a red one and he is given the previous one. Once he accumulates $1,000, the plaque is replaced with a gold plaque. At $5,000, his plaque is replaced with a large 8x10 plaque to be placed above the fireplace in our formal living room. All of these amounts are cumulative from January of 2003 on.
