Home Base Program Home Base units serve 10-12 families each. A home visitor meets with the parent and child for 1 1/2 hours each week. Together the home visitor and parent plan and conduct activities that focus on learning through hands-on exploration of materials. Development of language and reasoning skills are also emphasized. Center days are scheduled each month to give children and parents the opportunity to meet others. |
