The requirements below must be fulfilled in addition to the prerequisite courses, the proficiency exam and the professional curriculum to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. - All required and elective credit hours must be completed before entering the professional dental hygiene curriculum. The Dental Hygiene Department Chairperson and USD Enrollment Services Center must approve any course taken from another institution for transfer prior to taking the course
- Upon successful completion of the prerequisite courses, the professional curriculum, the proficiency exam, and these additional requirements, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene is awarded
