Overview

The following services outline the scope of dental hygiene care available at our clinics in Sioux Falls and Vermillion. Fees vary depending on the clinic location and the services provided.

Services

Dentists are available as adjunct faculty in the Sioux Falls clinic to provide exams, extractions and fillings for patients.

Additional Information
  • Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation are available, if needed
  • Patients will be advised of their treatment needs and will be appropriately referred for procedures that cannot be provided by the program
  • We will not deny admission to the program or access to dental hygiene services to any individual based on the presence of any bloodborne infectious disease
  • We adhere to standard infection control practices for all patients
  • We sterilize all instruments and utilize disposable products whenever possible and would be happy to discuss any of these procedures with you
  • Fees for services are different between the Vermillion campus and Sioux Falls clinic
  • Because of the teaching environment in both clinics, complete dental care is not available; referrals to local dentists and specialists are available
