Overview
- The graduate is eligible to take the National Council of Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a registered nurse (RN) after completion of graduation requirements
- Our Associate of Science in Nursing degree consists of 65 credits that include theory, laboratory and clinical learning experiences
- Clinical experiences are in urban and rural hospitals, community-based agencies and clinics
- The nursing program is offered on the main campus in Vermillion and four campuses in Pierre, Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Watertown
- A Distance Program is offered to employees through a partnership with the Good Samaritan Society (GSS)

- Classroom setting at all campuses
- Online option at Rapid City and Sioux Falls
- LPN to RN Upward Mobility program at all campuses
- LPN to RN (1+1 option) at the Watertown campus only
