Overview
  • The graduate is eligible to take the National Council of Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a registered nurse (RN) after completion of graduation requirements
  • Our Associate of Science in Nursing degree consists of 65 credits that include theory, laboratory and clinical learning experiences
  • Clinical experiences are in urban and rural hospitals, community-based agencies and clinics
  • The nursing program is offered on the main campus in Vermillion and four campuses in Pierre, Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Watertown
  • A Distance Program is offered to employees through a partnership with the Good Samaritan Society (GSS)

  • Online option at Rapid City and Sioux Falls
  • LPN to RN Upward Mobility program at all campuses
  • LPN to RN (1+1 option) at the Watertown campus only
